Folks. Another great round, filled with generally good football. As far as sportsbetting profits go, I think we take a small win. Will know when we do accounting tonight.
Hope the week was kind to you all out there.

Misread a game time today. Luckily it didn't affect things. Just goes to show that when you put your guard down in this sports betting game - then it can bite you on the ass.
Been busy at the professional gambler blog.
New post reviewing round 4 AFL is up. Valuable for records to track the season as it unfolds.
I love what we do over at the professional gambler site. it's sports investing at its purest - you take a contest of your liking, assign a wager and invest.
do you accounting and accumulate $
its awesome.
We just keep on going. Dedication and hard work is what it takes. That's why it is so tough to be good at this sports investment game.
Is this team up and about? I'll do what professional sports gamblers need to do. Analyse.
Ross Lyon proving to be a pretty good extrator or performance.
This team outperforms.
look for a full update on positions tomorrow.
For sports investment purposes, it is always important to be a realist - and track how you are travelling as weeks unfold.
This weekend of sports investing, we were pretty close on two, and picked one beautifully. Essendon gets up for us (we had them to cover), and we fall one kick short with Collingwood - who just refuse to fire for us.
We had Geelong today who left the game plan in the shed at half time and couldn't keep up the momentum.
MLB has been average, but we are already quite far ahead, so we are happy to keep tracking along.
Enjoy your week,
Sammy
As far as sports investment is concerned, we are taking the Bombers +43.5 and Collingwood -27.5 today in two seperate investments.
Both progressing well.
Now that we have that out of the way I figured i'd youtube "AFL greatest goal" and see what we get
Here is position one.
cool little post today. About the sports investment opinion of free sign up bonuses at online bookmakers.
Most punters will embrace sign up bonuses - not really understanding all of the wins the bookmaker will have off the back of them.
Some free money up front is cheap when the other side of the coin is long term losses.
We have some issues at Collingwood. Just heard their captain Nick Maxwell on the radio and he's a class act. Talked about it, without talking about it. The kind of bloke that makes you want to invest with his team
We just posted to the blog, and we had a good week 3 investing in sports. Stop by and grab a few tips and see how you like the blog
Just posted week 10 to the blog.
Always amazes me that sports investment continues to be so exploitable - and love the fact that it gives me so much intellectual challenge.
Thats what it is... a real challenge.
Love it.
Hawthorn were able to put up a gutsy performance and salute -29.5 points for us sports investment types. They are playing quite well, and have bounced back nicely from their loss to Geelong (which they should have won you could argue).
On to Round 3
Round 3 is well underway, with a good win to Carlton on the Friday night. Eddie Betts wasn't able to take his huge grabs but it was a reasonable enjoyable game. Sports investment is going well, and we have Sunday positions.
A review of the sports betting lines from AFL round 2 2012 has been posted to the site.
Hope you can get something out of it. In the meantime, enjoy this Natanui highlights package.
AFL prices are up today. It`s always a crucial task to check the early prices are see if any of the sportsbetting lines are worth grabbing early.
The difference between Wednesday`s and Saturdays prices can be up to 5-10 points. Check and bet early if you need to.
Good to get this done and posted to the sports investment blog. Found an extra 15 units this week which was nice.
Look for a big week 10 to really keep things ticking over.
Nice solid Geelong win today. The quality of this team cannot be underestimated. Work ethic and skill. They have it all. Sports betting line was value plus at $2.80
Hawthorn still with some work to do.
Today on the sports betting blog we dealt with West Coast Eagles and their fantastic 2011 AFL season.
They performed very well, but were unlucky on a few occasions to not get the cover.
Stop by to read the article to get a really clear picture of how their season fared. Does it indicate how 2012 will go?
Round 2 is upon us and we are loving the sports investment profits that we are EARNING, not winning. I don't think there is much harder work than serious sports investment.
Still watching replays of Eddie's mark from last night and crunching MLB numbers, this weekend will be busy.
Enjoy the AFL.
Two things were realised post Lions Blues. We are 2 - 0 in sports investment so far this AFL season, and Eddie Betts sure can take a decent grab.
Or two even - he really took off tonight! Our team layed to -20.5 points and added 15 units to the years total.
here's the Eddy grab.
This week just shows just how much sports investing returns cycle up and down.
We couldn't hit an investment last week, and this week we didn't lose.
That's how we do.
At the moment, a big debate is raging in AFL circles about the Melbourne football club and someone telling tales out of school.
This has led many to put a fork in Melbourne again for this season, citing a broken culture and bad apples amongst the bunch.
Even this afternoon the bookmakers have wound Melbourne out a further point and we are still a few days away from the game against the west coast eagles.
Sports Investment is a season long sport so position appropriately - don't look too far into short term issues.
Over at the blog we love to predict, but also mark our own card. As we've said before, keeping good sports investment records is the best thing you can do for your own punting.
Go enjoy, and good luck in Round 2.
Like most people assumed, Matty scarlett should get a nice holiday for his hit on Ballantyne. All sports investment professionals will take not as Scarlett is crucial to the Geelong backline.
It was unecessary and reckless. He needs to be put out for that as the AFL wants it out of the game.
Richmond supporters are a long suffering lot.
So are any loyal Richmond punters. We take a look at whether a sports investor might be rewarded by creating a strategy around Richmond.
The site has been busy- at the blog we have been discussing AFL line updates, team analysis, along with the usual profit reports and what not...
Most of the work at our end in reality though, is taking place behind the scenes. Sports Investment is really all about preparation, and the most profitable market of all is about to start up - Major League Baseball (MLB).
Don't miss out on adding baseball to your wagering rotation.
the big news of the round
