Round 18 AFL Betting done... it was an alright week.

A reasonable week of AFL sports betting. Overall it has still been a pretty dissappointing year  - but the year is not over yet. Look forward to putting up a few units over the next few weeks and on into finals in our sports betting.

The (late) preview of Round 18 AFL Betting

Was up and on the phones on Saturday morning, sorting out our positions for Saturday AFL betting. Things went quite well and we went 2 - 0 on the day. Was feeling it.

It's a shame this form didn't carry over into the MLB betting. Has seriously SUCKED lately.

Olympics are here!

After what seemed like a long wait - the olympics are here! Already some minor sportsbetting controversy with the Australian flagbearer betting market seeming to be leaked somehow ensued and a plunge ensued on Lauren Jackson - the eventual flagbearer.

Coping with the sports investment drawdowns.

Determination is needed in the face of sports investment in a drawdown. This is what it feels like, - much like the wolves are at the door.

We keep going, stick to the plan and pull the trigger. We keep betting the AFL, taking our MLB signals, and waiting for the worm to turn our way

Rough week of sports betting

We drop a few units this week, quite a few. That is how sports investment goes - we have a bad week, we have good weeks and very good weeks. We just do the maths and we very usually profit.

Essendon found wanting

Geelong came out firing tonight at Etihad stadium, and our AFL betting position gets up. AFL is slowly starting to claw it's way back - and we have been rewarded for not getting too excited or distressed and throwing units around randomly.

Pushing back

The positions are pushing back. All traders and those involved with markets know that markets can deteriorate and break down on you. That is what we are experiencing at the moment with our sports investment markets. AFL betting has come back to level and MLB is still struggling along. Could be an average year of +30% only.

A couple of interesting tribunal for footy betting impacts

Tonight, Chris Judd will face the tribunal. Without him, Carlton will struggle to get the cover this weekend is one opinion we hear from a respected punter. AFL betting means we need to get the best of the lines. We wait on Juddy's outcome.

Round 16 in the books

A nice day of footy betting today. A lot of line movement this week as teams were favoured in the betting and were subsequently supported at the bookies.

Keep things disciplined and bet tight.

Melbourne lose a likely cover.

The Dees didn't get there for us in today's AFL betting. Injuries costing a certain cover and maybe even an outright win. With Jamar off, the Dees were forced to put Stefan Martin in the ruck - robbing them of a dedicated forward target. He tired towards the end and became ineffective, doubling the blow to the dees. Knee injury to Bennell drained dash from the dees forward 50.

Lines moving in AFL betting Markets.

Taking a position early on a game when betting AFL can sometimes have a consequence of taking a bad number. If the number moves, it can result in your taking a number that is 2 - or sometimes 3 or 4 points worse by the time the bounce comes around.

The cost of taking a position is sometimes it can be contrarian - and the line moves against you.

Just hope it doesn't happen too often, and if it does happen - the point or two doesn't come into play.

The AFL wrap up is here again.

No dreamteam of supercoach for me in 2012. Just afl betting and a week by week approach. This week we covered the 15th week of AFL betting.

Things are going ok believe it or not. Thought we could be down more than this given the results that have gone our way.

Weeks go by for punters

Another week of professional gambling has been and gone - and it was a little bit of a drawdown week for us.

We worked hard, for no rewards with our betting results. With a shortened week this week we will have to see if we can turn this around and move back in the right direction.

Home run Derby is here.

With professional gambling - there are many experts that we can learn from. It would make sense to learn as much from people like this if we can - and then apply what we learn. One of those experts is Billy Walters.

Refocussing for post all - star break. Enjoy the home run derby!

Round 15 up and about...

Definitely the best game in the world. Some great games and some great betting was had this weekend.

How has your season been going?

Round 14 of AFL 2012 done and done

A good week is nice. If only every week was like that with sports investment and professional gambling.

Looking forward to this weekends games, and hope we get some good results falling our way. we are due for a good week.

Nice week of sports investment

2012 sports investment continues to shine for us, with a good positive week of MLB and AFL betting.

It is important to work hard, but also stay persistent in the face of poor weeks of sports betting results

The Bookies keeping things safe

Favourites saluting is nothing new. But we cannot bet them blindly - this is one of the confusing aspects of punting, indicating the need for your own approach to things punting.

Favourites this week.

Favourites are really up and about this week. So much so that it could reshape the ledger in the wrap up mid week next week.

Sports investment - such a tricky game.
